Summary
Export Sales Co-ordinator
Location: Basildon
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: £23,265 per year

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a flair for international communication and a passion for customer service? Extrastaff are looking for a proactive Export Sales Co-ordinator to join a dynamic team and play a key role in managing offshore customer accounts and supporting a field-based Account Managers.
About the Role:
As an Export Sales Co-ordinator, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of export accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient communication across internal departments. This is a varied and hands-on role requiring excellent organisation, multitasking skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain a portfolio of offshore customer accounts
• Support Account Managers with day-to-day administration and customer communication
• Process orders, dispatch documentation, and handle shipping paperwork
• Prepare and manage sample requests and customer bookings (via email and phone)
• Set up new accounts and maintain accurate customer records
• Liaise between internal departments to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
• Book direct containers and arrange deliveries
• Maintain back orders and ensure timely communication with clients regarding their shipments
• Provide general sales support including consumer calls and sales documentation
• Use Word, Excel, and internal systems to create and manage orders
• Assist the Team Leader and colleagues with general office tasks and logistics paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in a customer service or sales support role, ideally within an export or logistics environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently
• Highly organised with a problem-solving mindset
