Summary
I am a young male that lives at home with my parents. I can be very complex and I can’t sit stand walk or talk. I have a nasel jedge tube for feeding and a gastrostomy for medication and flushes
I have a genetic condition called lesch nyhan syndrome, along with dystonia, epilepsy and I suffer with aspiration.
To support me with my interests such as arts and crafts
Accompany my parents if we go out.
Ensuring that I am comfortable in my surroundings
Support with administering medication if required but not essential
as family will be around
Oral suction administer oxygen however full training will be
provided by registered nurse
Some personal care will be required
To encourage and enable me to make and maintain relationships
with friends and family.
To undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties as specified
Friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour
The ability to always maintain the highest levels of professionalism and integrity in the performance of your duties.
The ability to empower me in reaching my full potential in all aspects of independent daily living.
The ability to communicate effectively with me and to put me at the centre of all you do whilst supporting me.
The ability to take responsibility for my wellbeing and safety.
Previous experience working with young people with disabilities
A DBS check will be required and arranged by us
