Summary
Our client is expanding their opening hours and menu at thier established restaurant in Westcliff-On-Sea.
They are seeking Relief wait staff to join their team as bank, covering shift as and when needed, this will be to cover sickeness, holidays and busy periods where additional staff are required.
The role:
To be a part of the wait staff, take orders efficiently and provide information on dishes, take note of any dietry requirements including allergies and reporting this to the kitchen with importance and accuracy.
Liaising with the kitchen team to esnure the timly delivery of orders.
Be friendly but professional to customers when taking orders, answering questions or recieving feedback.
Offer advice on dishes to choose, what is on special e.t.c
Greet customers and seat them appropriately and timely
To ensure the needs of guests are met, ask if anything is required, checking they are satisfied etc.
Must have:
Experience as wait staff in a restaurant
Flexibility
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Friendly, professional disposition.
Right to work in the UK.
