Ayerst are a leading independent asbestos management consultancy in the UK with 40 years industry experience, Ayerst sets the standards in asbestos compliance. Specialising in the identification, testing and monitoring of asbestos.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to recruit a Trainee Consultant to train in the area of Asbestos in order to progress within the company to a qualified Consultant.
The role and responsibilities:
MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE.
· Commitment to train towards P402 qualifications
· Commitment to an intensive 6 month training period
· Intensive 6 month training period, which will involve learning all aspects of asbestos Surveys.
· Learn how to take asbestos samples (known as bulk sampling)
· Learn how to conduct the various types of Asbestos Surveys.
· Completion of site certification using electronic documents on a tablet
· Interact on site with different contractors/clients
· Learn to understand risk assessments
· Knowledge of current legislation and guidance documentation
· Assisting surveyors carrying out asbestos surveys.
· Operate under our UKAS accreditation
· Be part of one of the largest environmental consultancies in the country
· Commitment to attend courses to attain the necessary qualifications
· Reliable, adaptable person
· A good team player who has a good eye for detail.
