Summary
About the Role
This role is a public facing compliance and enforcement role, a significant part of the role will involve engaging with residents and businesses in the borough to ensure compliance with highways, rights of way and public realm matters, undertaking enforcement action where required. You will need to work closely with colleagues in the Council’s enforcement, environment and highway teams whilst building relationships with partner agencies. The role will require the post holder to research and implement solutions.

You will pay a key role in providing a safe, clean and green physical environment for our residents, being conscientious in your approach and accountable for your actions
You will need strong communication skills both verbal and written and be capable of making evidence led decisions
About us
The role will be a part of our Environmental Quality Team sitting within our Environmental Management Team. We are a small team consisting of township based officers who have responsibility for individual townships and boroughwide subject specialists covering the entire area.
