We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety. The Painter will be responsible for both interior and exterior painting tasks, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of our projects.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in accordance with project specifications.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and timelines.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Experience
Proven experience in painting is essential; knowledge of various painting techniques is highly desirable.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel to different job locations.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
