Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator/Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting fundraising initiatives. This position requires strong relationship management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The Financial Administrator will utilise software tools to enhance our fundraising efforts and maintain effective public relations.
Responsibilities
Manage financial records and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
Prepare and analysing financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Oversee the implementation of fundraising strategies
tracking donations and managing donor relationships.
Foster strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and team members through effective communication and customer service.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
Support public relations efforts by providing financial insights that enhance our organisation's image.
Requirements
Proven experience in a financial administration/Fundraising role or similar position.
Familiarity with fundraising principles and practices is advantageous.
Proficiency in using fundraising software is preferred.
Strong relationship management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
