We are seeking a passionate and reliable Weekend Café Cook to join our team. You will play a key role in preparing and serving delicious meals, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from our menu to a high standard.
- Ensure all food is presented attractively and consistently.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and suggest creative ideas for specials.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages to the manager.
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
- Handle customer dietary requirements and allergen requests with care and professionalism.


Requirements

- Proven experience as a cook or chef in a café or similar setting.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts (including bank holidays) and holiday/sickness cover.
- A passion for food and delivering excellent customer service.
