An exciting opportunity has arisen in Pol-Ed, within West Yorkshire Police.  We are offering you to be a part of creating a world where children and young people are safe. 

We are looking to recruit someone who is able to assist the Head of Pol-Ed on the development and delivery of all content and CPD.

In this exciting role you will assist the Content and CPD Lead in creating content for Children and Young People, nationally, as part of the Pol-Ed Programme to enhance and improve their knowledge and understanding around an array of topic areas, whilst focusing on personal development.

You will support the Content and CPD Lead in carrying out regular reviews of all content, making additions and amendments where needed and identifying where further content needs developing to ensure content is progressive across year groups. Using National Frameworks such as the National Curriculum, you will map coverage against the PSHE Association and identify objectives.

In addition to this, you will create and deliver bespoke training to different audiences (teachers, LA partners and Police Officers) around subject specific topics to inform and impart confidence in delivering content to Children and Young People and to develop understanding and use of Pol-Ed to get the greatest impact.

Ensuring that all content and training is relevant, current and in line with both the DfE curriculum and policing priorities is key for this role.

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working within a dynamic and changing environment, providing appropriate support were necessary.
