About the Role:
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of a vibrant apartment building consisting of 97 flats. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure a comfortable and pleasant environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Communal Area Cleaning: Regularly clean and sanitise communal bathrooms and kitchens to the highest standards.
Flat Turnover Cleaning: Thoroughly clean flats after check-outs, preparing them for new tenants with meticulous attention to detail.
Common Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and outdoor spaces, ensuring they are free from litter and debris.
Waste Management: Empty, clean, and maintain trash and recycling bins, adhering to proper disposal procedures.
Lift and Staircase Cleaning: Regularly clean and sanitise lifts and staircases to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
General Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and sanitising surfaces.
Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, damage, or inventory needs to the appropriate personnel.
Safe Equipment Handling: Ensure all equipment and cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly.
Client Preferences: Handle cleaning tasks according to client preferences and any special instructions provided.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
What We're Looking For:
Physical Fitness: You should be physically fit and comfortable with the demands of the role.
Experience (Advantageous): Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is an advantage, but not essential.
High Cleaning Standards: You possess a strong commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
Communication Skills: You have excellent communication skills and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
Physical Capabilities: Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Proficiency in using cleaning tools and equipment for extended periods.
