VACANCY: Office Housekeeper (Part Time)
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Location: 350 Bournville Lane, Bournville, Birmingham B30 1QY
Hours: Monday to Friday – 5pm till 7pm – 10 hours per week
A part time vacancy exists within Communities department for An Office housekeeper at Bournville Village Trust’s Head office, an opportunity to work in a diverse and rewarding environment. Job Profile
The overall purpose of the job is:
To provide a comprehensive cleaning service at the Trust’s head office, in accordance with Health & Safety recommendations, and to assist in general duties in the absence of the Community Support Manager.
All key tasks to be allocated as appropriate by line manager.
Key Tasks:
General cleaning and upkeep of our offices and communal spaces. It is essential that these areas are maintained at an exceptional standard of cleanliness. More specifically below are some of the day-to-day duties and responsibilities but not an exhaustive list
Load and run dishwashers.
Vacuum carpeted areas.
Clean hard surface floors.
Wipe down desks and work surfaces.
As part of our weekly maintenance duties, it is essential to clean the refrigerators and dispose of any expired food items
Detailed cleaning of blinds, radiators, skirting boards, and framed pictures
Any other reasonable task requested by the Front of House and Facilities Coordinator.
Candidate Profile
You will be values driven and focused on delivering great services.
It is essential that you meet the following criteria:
· Customer focused attitude
· Experience of working directly with clients
· Flexible approach
· Ability to relate to older people
· Team player
· Subject to clear DBS check.
It will be beneficial if you have experience working within experience in office environments, handling similar responsibilities.
