Cambian Brook View School offers a fully integrated approach to the Education, Care and Clinical support for young people aged 8 to 18 years, who come to us on a full time, residential basis from across the country, with a range of Autistic Spectrum and associated complex needs.

What We’re Looking For!
We’re looking for a motivated, organised and highly proactive individual to join our team. You will be responsible for front of house supporting the college with a number of reception and administrative functions. Ensuring that a friendly and professional image is kept of the school at all times, you’ll be working in a busy, fast paced environment. You will be joining an experienced administrative team and will be responsible for helping to provide an efficient and accessible administration service to support the smooth running and effective management of the college as well as a friendly warm welcome and greetings to our visitors, staff and students.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Greeting visitors with a professional, pleasant and welcoming approach.
Liaising with relevant staff/students promptly and ensuring that the visitors remain comfortable and kept informed during their wait within the reception area.
Managing the telephones with an appropriate telephone manner, answering calls promptly and effectively and transferring them appropriately.
Recording messages fully and accurately, ensuring that they are delivered promptly.
Managing the signing in/out system – updating registers to ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
To support the school on open days, greeting visitors and providing information and advice.
To assist with the provision of refreshments for meetings/reviews/visitors as required.
Maintaining the central shared calendar ensuring this is accurate at all times.
Accurate duplicating, scanning and distribution of documents as required.
Ensuring the Health and Safety of the reception area and the welfare of visitors.
Opening and communicating post/deliveries received and ensuring that this is sign posted to the relevant staff/team.
Preparation of post and outgoing correspondence.
Ensure at all levels that confidentiality is adhered to.
The ability to multi task and manage time effectively.
Supporting students whilst working on Reception completing Work Experience.
