Summary

Job Description

Based at Arbroath High School, Keptie Road, Arbroath.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, highly motivated and dynamic teacher, to join our middle leadership team as Principal Teacher (Sciences). Our aim is to transform the learning and teaching experience of pupils at Arbroath High School and as leader of a large faculty you will have a key role to play in this.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellent teaching, an inclusive approach and commitment to fostering a love of learning in all pupils. The post holder will be responsible for teaching assigned classes, as well as leadership activities within the Science faculty, in the PT Leadership Team and across our learning community.

You will also have proven leadership skills and the ability to develop and progress school improvement initiatives to raise attainment.
