More about this Admin & Finance Officer job:
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll maintain accurate records and follow our corporate financial processes for the management of departmental income and expenditure.
You will be maintaining other administrative records to support the effective running of the venue.
Supporting front of house, you’ll help when needed to answer customer queries and complaints to ensure high levels of customer service are delivered.

Working pattern:
This job opportunity is part-time, 22.5 hours per week.
You will be required to be on-site at The King’s Hall in Herne Bay weekly. However, flexible working arrangements that work for both you and the Team can be agreed with the hiring manager.

About you, the ideal Admin & Finance Officer for the job:

Your experience
You’ll have worked in administration and finance within a commercial hospitality environment or local authority administration.
You should have demonstrable experience for providing effective customer service.

Your knowledge
A fair knowledge of administration processes that may be required for operating an events and hospitality venue.
Good knowledge of commercial administration and financial management.

Your skills
Numeracy and IT skills
Excellent administration skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-motivated
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work with autonomy as well as being an effective team player
