Summary
The successful applicant will work closely under the supervision of the medical retina consultants (Ms Emily Fletcher, Ms Elizabeth Bristow, Ms Miranda Buckle, Ms Vidya Pulpa, Mr Quresh Mohamed and Mr Salman Asghar) in the unit. The weekly timetable includes medical retina emergencies, general medical retina, laser treatments, intravitreal injections, casualty clinics and study/administrative sessions. The post has fixed on-call commitments of 1 in 6, 1st on-call.The post holder is also expected to be flexible and willing to undertake additional duties out of hours or in the event of unforeseen circumstances to ensure the smooth running of the department.
