Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Junior Print Engineer to join our growing team. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for technology, an eye for detail, and a desire to learn the ins and outs of print systems. You'll assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of printing equipment at client sites across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of printers, copiers, MFDs (multi-function devices), and other print hardware.
Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance tasks under supervision.
Respond to first-line support requests and escalate complex issues as required.
Assist with diagnosing hardware/software issues and implementing effective solutions.
Keep accurate service records and complete job sheets.
Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams.
Keep up to date with emerging print technologies and training.
Essential Skills & Experience
Good IT literacy – confident with Windows OS and common office applications.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A full UK driving licence (field-based roles).
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and ICT.
Desirable
Previous experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk environment.
Awareness of Managed Print Services (MPS).
