Job Type: Flexible Supply, Part-time, Full-time
Salary: Up to £140 per day
Location: The Wirral
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school’s teaching staff by supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher. You will manage classroom behaviour, ensure that students are engaged in their work, and provide support where necessary. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the educational experience of students while working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes, ensuring students stay on task with the lesson plan provided.
Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour.
Support students with tasks and ensure they remain engaged.
Complete administrative duties, such as attendance and reporting incidents.
Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
Ensure student safety and report safeguarding concerns when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and work independently.
A proactive and calm approach to handling student behaviour.
