About the Production Administrator job
You will be responsible for supporting the production team with administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth running of the production process.
Key tasks
Coordinate and support daily production operations, including scheduling, inventory management, recipe paperwork distribution, and liaising with other departments for smooth workflow.
Maintain and review production data, documentation, and reports for accuracy; perform data entry into live systems and prepare reports for the Operations Director.
Ensure compliance by updating and tracking training, health & safety, hygiene, and food safety records; participate in traceability audits and flag upcoming training needs.
Approve timesheets, manage performance board updates, issue start-up/check sheets, support requisitions, and carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
About You
The successful candidate shall have experience in food manufacturing production, be a highly organised individual with the ability to multitask and communicate at all levels, both verbally and written.

The site is in Wigan, Greater Manchester and is commutable from Bolton, Preston, Warrington, Bury, along with areas of Lancashire and Merseyside.
