We are looking for an inspirational, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher, to come and join our busy and friendly school and be part of our future journey. The position has become available due to the promotion of the previous post holder to the position of Deputy Headteacher, at another school.This role is a middle leadership role and we would welcome applications from those with a proven strong track record of excellent class teaching and those with a clear impact from leading a core subject to join us on our next steps.

St Stephen's is a very popular (oversubscribed in many classes) Church of England School, with a relatively new leadership team in place. We pride ourselves on supporting staff development and training as well as sharing our commitment to the wider profession by working closely with 2 local Universities by receiving PGCE and B.ed student placements. We expect all our staff to join in the wider life of the school and also to support as a subject champion in order to lead and develop our curriculum areas in collaboration with our current set up.

Our recent OFSTED and SIAMS reports reflected that "pupils are happy and enjoy attending St Stephen's CofE Primary School...the school has recently revised and raised its expectations for what pupils should learn...the curriculums are broad, balanced and ambitious for all pupil, including those with SEND....pupils enjoy the variety of clubs on offer and are enthusiastic about bringing the whole community together."
