Were looking for a Trainee HR Business Partner to join our dynamic People Services team a fantastic entry-level opportunity to step into the world of strategic HR business partnering. This is more than just an HR role its your launchpad into high-impact projects like TUPE, acquisitions, employee engagement, organisational change, and employment relations. Youll work closely with Senior HR Business Partners (SHRBPs) and People Managers, gaining hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference across the business. What Youll Be Doing Be a trusted partner to People Managers, offering clear and confident advice on employee relations, policies, and change processes. Take ownership of your own employee relations caseload and contribute to tribunal preparation work. Support TUPE activities and acquisitions from data collation to consultations. Help deliver exciting organisational design and change initiatives. Analyse and report on people data to inform key HR decisions. Contribute to attrition management efforts, including leaver interviews and retention strategies. Assist in policy reviews, create bespoke HR letters, and support other strategic HR projects. What You'll Bring Excellent communication skills you're someone who earns trust and builds strong relationships. A natural problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and handles sensitive conversations with empathy and confidence. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines. A keen interest in People Analytics and continuous improvement. What Youll Need Part-qualified (or working towards) CIPD Level 5, with ~3 years of HR experience and a desire to complete Level 7. Solid grounding in employee relations and UK employment law. Confident working with middle management stakeholders across the business. A flexible, can-do attitude and a collaborative mindset. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.
