Do you have what it takes to make positive change?

The main purpose of the role is to intensively support people to reduce problematic alcohol and substance misuse and tackle the wider complex issues associated with this client group, including rough sleeping and poor health, fewer alcohol related hospital admissions and a reduction in crime and disorder.

Officers have a varied caseload, allowing them to build trusting relationships with service users and support them on their journey to recovery, by addressing some of the underpinning issues. Support to individuals is intense throughout and engagement in partnership with Adult Social Care and other associated agencies is vital to achieving the outcomes of the project

As part of our Recruitment Process, we commit to offering an interview to all Veterans seeking employment; service personnel during their resettlement phase; and care leavers. We therefore recommend that you highlight this in your application.

In some instances we do reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the closing date, therefore early applications are encouraged.

Anglia Care Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and young people, is an equal opportunities employer which values diversity and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Successful applicants will be asked to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
