Summary
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at our busy and welcoming care home. This is a part-time position, working evenings 3pm -9pm, to include alternative weekends, ideal for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and making a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing personal care and support to residents in line with their individual care plans
Assisting with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, and mobility
Promoting a person-centred approach that respects the dignity and choices of every resident
Supporting residents during mealtimes and engaging in meaningful interactions
Working closely with colleagues to create a warm, homely environment
Requirements:
Experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential – training will be provided
A kind, patient, and empathetic nature
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work alternate weekends
