About Us
We are a leading UK-based manufacturer at the forefront of automation and innovation in the food machinery industry. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Engineering Stores Controller to oversee our stores operations and support our manufacturing and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily goods in/out, stock picking, kitting, and inventory reconciliation.
- Operate and maintain an accurate stock control system using QuickBooks.
- Receive, inspect, and log deliveries, ensuring correct storage and organisation.
- Issue parts and stock to the production team to meet tight deadlines.
- Manage internal customer requests and process them efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company audit processes and safety documentation (COSHH, Food Safety).
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping of customer orders.
- Liaise with internal teams to fulfil parts requirements.
- Support procurement by purchasing stock items and ad-hoc supplies.
- Regularly report KPIs to the management team to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

About You
- Proven experience in a similar Engineering Stores Controller role.
- Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse operations.
- Experience within an engineering environment is highly desirable.
- Proficient in stock management software (QuickBooks preferred).
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Strong team leadership, problem-solving abilities, and good time management skills.
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and health & safety practices.
