Summary
Austen Allen Homecare is an award-winning Domiciliary Care Company who is a recognised provider of high-quality service, with branches across Dartford, Gravesham, Medway and Thanet.
We are now looking to recruit a Care Advisor to join our Gravesham Branch. We are looking to recruit someone who is keen to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
The ideal candidate will need to be extremely flexible as this position will involve covering care calls in the community when needed; this could be evenings and weekends.
Duties include but are not restricted to:
+ Creating and maintaining Care Plans and Risk Assessments
+ Liaise with multidisciplinary teams
+ Carrying out routine spot checks and supervisions on care staff
+ Good flexibility to cover care calls, where necessary
+ Being part of the rota for our out-of-hours, on-call phone.
+ Supporting Care staff in the community
Essential Requirements:
+ Driving Licence and Car Owner
+ Experienced in Care
+ Flexibility to complete care work in the community
Ideal skills and qualifications:
+ Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care
+ Previous experience in mental capacity assessments
+ Basic knowledge of CQC requirements for the role
+ Administration and IT skills
+ Strong Communication skills
+ Strong documentation skills
