This is a rare part-time opportunity to join a fantastic team with a brilliant Early Years Lead. We welcome applications from both teachers or higher level TA's to join our Nursery from September.

Your new school
Part of Lift Schools, Four Dwellings Primary Academy is one of 57 schools within our Trust. Based in a lovely modern building the school is led by a passionate and dedicated Head, Mrs Michelle Court. Originally from Birmingham, Michelle has worked within various schools across Lift, since joining Four Dwellings in March 2022 she has recruited a strong management team. In 2023 they obtained the first Good Ofsted, which was incredibly strong and are now pushing for outstanding. It's an exciting time to join as they look to recruit an early years teacher on a 1 year FTC, part time basis for mornings only.

Your new role
Our nursery is open five mornings from 8.40am until 11.45am and we are looking for a teacher or HLTA to lead our class. We are very fortunate to have a rich and stimulating learning environment, a lovely classroom and an expansive outdoor area with access to a woodland area where children regularly visit. You will help to develop our children's sense of independence and support children to ensure they feel respected, included and engaged in a range of tasks that are designed to foster strong relationships with the adults in our academy and the other children in their class.

What you'll need to succeed
You will either be a qualified teacher or have a level 3 HLTA qualification with an understanding of what an excellent education looks like in the classroom. You'll be able to quickly adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of all children. You'll have flexibility to be able to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and patience in interactions with a variety of children and situations, with a calm demeanour.

We offer you:

  • Comprehensive training: Access to some of the best developmental training to boost your career.
  • Generous benefits: From your pension plan to healthcare and financial support, we've got you covered.
  • Lifestyle perks: Enjoy discounted gym memberships, travel deals, and even electric vehicle incentives.

We will review applications as we receive them so please don't wait to apply.

Closing date: Wednesday 30th April 2025
Interview date: Week commencing 5th May 2025

Please note the HLTA salary will differ depending on experience.
