Are you a qualified Gas Engineer looking to take your skills to the next level with a company that truly values high standards and

We’re looking for a skilled Gas Engineer to join our dedicated technical team at HMS, part of Torus Group – delivering first-class
construction and maintenance services across the North West. In this key role, you’ll play a vital part in providing safe,
reliable, and customer-focused gas services to our clients and residents.
You’ll work as part of an integrated team, ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and
customer care – making the best use of resources and delivering real value every day.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing of domestic gas appliances in line with safety standards.
* Maintain boilers and heating systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.
* Identify minor faults during servicing and recommend further maintenance as needed.
* Record all service details using digital systems, clearly noting issues and recommendations.
* Deliver excellent customer service while minimising disruption to tenants.
Skills & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heating or Gas qualification
* ACS elements CCN1, CPA1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1, DAH1, MET1
* CSCS card
* Full UK or EU driving license
* Time served apprenticeship
* Experience of Gas, mechanical, building maintenance & construction activities
* Good customer care skills
* Willing to be proactive in the continuous improvement of a quality service
* Experience of trade activity associated to core skills, multiskilling
* Able to demonstrate initiative when dealing with situations and completing tasks.
