Summary
The Post Holder is responsible to the Assistant Project Manager for the delivery and development of respective programme strategies of the project in accordance with approved timescales. The Project Support Manager will be will be responsible for providing project support to the Project Team in addition to the management of the tasks outlined below
Duties required of the Project Support Manager will include but not be limited to;
Identifying and developing requirements documentation;
Identifying and developing programme governance documentation
Working with FMPD Risk Managers to ensure allocated Risks, Issues and Opportunities are managed
effectively
Working with subject matter authorities to assist in the development and delivery of respective Programme
Strategies (e.g. Procurement, Commercial, Communications, People)
Contribute to the effective management of a wide range of customers and partners including Cabinet
Office, Ministry of Defence (MoD) Head Office and other areas of MoD as well as supporting effective
engagement with Industry suppliers;
Other duties may include acting as Secretary to various meetings, maintaining Programme associated documentation and contributing to the production of papers for consideration by the Programme Board and Programme Delivery Group.
