About the Role:
As a Sign Maker Apprentice, you’ll be learning and developing practical skills in all areas of sign making. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll work on projects from initial design concepts to installation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, creative individual with an eye for detail who’s looking to turn their passion into a career. You will be working towards a level 3 qualification in Sign Making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the design and production of custom signs using various tools and materials.
• Operating machinery such as vinyl plotters, printers, and laminators (full training provided).
• Preparing, assembling, and finishing signage to a professional standard.
• Supporting the installation of signs on-site with the team.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workshop area.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative flair.
• Comfortable working with your hands and using tools.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for design, craftsmanship, or the creative industry.
Requirements:
• No prior experience required – just a willingness to learn and grow.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one)..
