Job Title: KS4 Mathematics Teacher

Location: Heath Farm College, Maidstone ME16 0ER

Salary: £31,650.00 to £45,000.00 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a KS4 Mathematics Teacher to join our close-knit team at Heath Farm School, part of Acorn Education.

About the role

We are looking for a KS4 Mathematics Teacher for Heath Farm College who will be responsible for delivering highly effective teaching and learning to the KS4 students in their sessions ensuring that it is appropriate, relevant and meets statutory requirements consistent with the individual needs of each student and to facilitate the very best outcomes for all.

The successful applicant will also be required to lead the Mathematics curriculum for Year 10 and Year 11 whilst playing a role in modelling the college values of ‘Love, Commitment and Opportunity’ consistently on a daily basis.

Some general duties of the role are as follows:

To plan and deliver schemes of work for the students in your sessions that is in keeping with the statutory requirements relating to individual students and college policies
Responsibility for the assessment, recording and reporting of all students in your sessions
To ensure that each student in your teaching or tutorial group has a Student Learner Profile which is relevant, appropriate, up to date and consistent with any statutory requirements
To be available to support student arrival and departure
To be available for break and lunchtime duties as and when on the rota
Requirement:

UK QTS or equivalent
