House Cleaner Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough domestic cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces polishing fixtures and assisting client where required.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks) and kitchens (appliances, countertops, cabinets) to high standards.
• Handle laundry duties (washing, ironing, folding) and organise living spaces as needed.
• Use cleaning products safely and effectively.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure home is spotless and well-presented.
• Communicate professionally with clients to accommodate specific preferences or instructions.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in professional cleaning, preferably in hotels or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment for residential spaces.
• Presentable appearance with a professional demeanor and pride in delivering quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift/move items, and work efficiently.
• Reliability, punctuality, and discretion when working in private homes.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility for varying schedules.
• Own transportation and valid references from previous employers/clients.
