We are looking for committed and compassionate professionals to join our team, who share our enthusiasm for changing lives.About the Service - Women and Children's ServicesWe run services and dedicated women’s centres for those who are at risk or struggling with challenging circumstances, including women in the criminal justice system and those with experience of trauma, selling sex or sexual exploitation.We understand that women and girls have experiences which are different to men and can experience vulnerabilities that are specific to their gender. Childhood abuse and domestic abuse are common features in the lives of the women we support which impact on their health and wellbeing. Underpinning all our services is an in-depth understanding of trauma and a focus on recovery, resilience and community integration.About the JobTake a key role in developing specialist knowledge within the organisation in respect of supporting men and women. This will include contributing to research, attending external courses, conferences and contributions in the development of guidance and toolkit.Work in partnership with services, including the Police and Local Authority to ensure a multi-agency response to safeguarding and supporting victims and ensuring a reduction in repeat victimisation.Ensure that any issues in relation to Safeguarding of children/vulnerable adults are brought to the immediate attention of the Project Lead.Maintain and update records and data collection.Ensure that the views and experiences of the individuals accessing the service are actively sought and used to inform the development of the service.Maintain in-depth and current knowledge of, and comply with, all Changing Lives Policies/Procedures and performance standards.Support students, volunteers and police apprentices within the service.Ensure services are delivered to agreed quality standards and good practice protocols.Undertake any other duties that may be seen to fall into the job responsibilities.
