Location: Nottingham, NG5 (Home & Community-based)
Working Hours: Full time and part time available (flexible)

Start Date: As soon as possible
Long Term Futures are working in collaboration with a secondary school in Nottingham to appoint a dedicated tutor to provide 1:1 tuition for a pupil in the home or community. This role focuses on delivering personalised education in Childcare and Health & Social Care, ensuring the student receives tailored support.
Responsiblities:
- Provide structured 1:1 tuition in Childcare and Health & Social Care.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs and learning style of the pupil.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment in home or community settings.
- Track and report student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians and relevant professionals.
- Support the pupil's academic, personal and social development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Experience in teaching Childcare or Health & Social Care.
- A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to 1:1 learning.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- The ability to travel within Nottingham for home/community-based sessions.
