An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen, following the promotion of our current Deputy Head to Headship. Eastover Primary School is seeking to appoint a visionary, highly motivated and experienced leader who will join the Head in leading the school on a journey of excellence whilst providing the best possible education and experiences for all the children at the school.
We are looking for a Deputy Head who:
• is an exemplar of quality first teaching with a proven record of modelling this to staff and effecting improvements in teaching and learning in specific subjects.
• has experience of working in an inclusive setting and has led aspects of school improvement linked to fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect and collaboration.
• has set ambitious standards for pupils and staff, promoting excellence.
This role will involve a teaching commitment.
We are a Community Primary School with close community links in a busy small town in Somerset.
