St. David’s RC Primary is a welcoming and successful school.We have an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to join our team on a permanent basis from September 2025.
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified teaching assistant who:
Has experience of supporting pupils with emotional/behavioural needs
Shows a creative, positive and flexible approach to working as part of a classroom team
Contributes willingly to the daily running of the class (e.g. by taking part in lunch duties, supervising playtimes, welcoming children at the gate, dismissing at the end of day etc.)
A desire to support the Catholic Ethos and Faith of the School
Welsh Language Skills are desirable for this post but not essential.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all applicants which will include an Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This post requires registration with the EWC – Education Workforce Council.
