Summary
My client (nursery) in Horsham is seeking a early years educator to work full time. Please only apply if you have a minimum level 3 qualification in a UK recognised early years qualification.
this is for the babies and pre school rooms. role is to be worked across 4 days from 7.45am until 6pm
Working in partnership with the Room Leader to ensure the daily running and administration of the room, delivering flexible, high quality, education and care that meets the needs of the young children and their families. To work alongside the Room Leader to ensure that the room is organised to fulfil the requirements of the specific age group within the nursery guidelines and policy.
With guidance, ensure compliance with all company policies, Health and Safety legislation, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and requirements as laid down by the Government – Department for
Children Schools and Families and regulated by OFSTED.
The setting
We are an independent nursery and have numerous opportunities to foster and develop the innovative ideas of our staff.
We listen to children and encourage them to think of their own theories, the play rooms are set up in a way for children to test their hypotheses as we believe this is the best way to learn.
The nursery itself has three light and welcoming playrooms with lots of natural, open ended and reclaimed resources to explore, a large spacious garden and access to surrounding fields all of which positively impact, inspire and nurture the inquisitive mind of every child.
The applicant must be able to;
Demonstrate a keen interest in learning and developing.
Ensure high standards of health and safety and activity promote the well-being of all children
Support the nurseries vision and create an inclusive environment that promotes equal opportunities for all children
Promote positive relationships with the children and their families
Communicate and work well as part of the team
Be a positives role model to children
A sense of humour, common sense and a ‘can do’ attitude!
Masses of drive, ambition and energy!
A determined, persistent and resilient person, who approaches and overcomes challenges with a positive attitude.
Passion for forest school and outdoor learning.
