Summary

Our team are looking for a Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, to work as part of a busy team to assist our Contract Managers in delivering a quality repairs service to our housing stock as well as commercially, with an aspiration to deliver upper quartile performance.

About the role

You will have responsibility for the supervision of Electrical trade staff and sub-contractors. This will involve the allocation of their work, monitoring their productivity, ensuring standard of work meets customers’ needs and expectations, and works are carried out within health and safety and legislative requirements. You must have an exceptional understanding of customer fulfilment.



The supervisor will be responsible for the safety, technical standard and quality of the electrical work carried out. They will also be required to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with BS7671, HSE requirements and company policy and procedures. In addition, they will be required to assist with audit/inspections as and when required.



As an EQS you will also be responsible for checking and signing off electrical certification carried out by the other electricians as well as notifying building control of any new installation works.



You may also get involved with our other work streams; this may include Planned works - Electrical installations for new kitchens & bathrooms. Voids - Repairs, rewire, testing and general upgrade works of void properties before they are re-let. Response maintenance - such as electrical repair, maintenance, and breakdowns.

About you

This is an exceptional opportunity; as such we are looking for people with:

Full UK driving licence
At least 2 years experience in supervisory role
Qualified to an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
2391 - Testing and Inspection (or equivalent)
2382 BS7671 - 18th Edition wiring regulations
Personable with excellent written and verbal communication
Additional relevant licences or qualifications would be advantageous
