Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Planning:
Meeting with couples to understand their vision, preferences, and budget.
Developing wedding themes and ideas.
Providing guidance on wedding customs and etiquette.
Creating customized proposals and quotations.
Vendor Management:
Negotiating with vendors (florists, photographers, caterers, venues, etc.).
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Ensuring contracts are in place and vendors are reliable.
Budget Management:
Overseeing the wedding budget and ensuring expenses stay within the set limit.
Tracking expenses and providing financial reports to clients.
Logistics & Coordination:
Managing the wedding timeline and schedule.
Coordinating all aspects of the wedding day, from setup to cleanup.
Ensuring everything runs smoothly on the wedding day.
Research and Marketing:
Staying up-to-date on wedding trends, services, and vendors.
Marketing their wedding planning services to attract new clients.
On-the-Day Support:
Being available and providing support on the day of the wedding.
Addressing any issues or problems that may arise.
Skills Required:
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues effectively.
Creativity: Ability to come up with unique and personalized wedding ideas.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate with vendors and secure favorable deals.
