If so, this role might be for you. We are looking for a support and assessment worker based at out Wigston location to cover a sickness post on a fixed term /secondment basis

The role is to work as part of an integrated team to provide a range of home/centre-based family support interventions that contribute to achieving an improvement in outcomes for children, young people, and families.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Level 3 childcare qualification (NNEB/NVQ3) or equivalent
  • Experience of working with parents and children
  • Understanding of social and environmental factors that have an effect on vulnerable, children, young people and families.
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with children, young people, parents, colleagues and other professionals
  • Ability to work with a range of professionals and engage in multidisciplinary work

You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.

In addition, we also expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
