As Head of Programming, you will be a skilled music programming professional with experience in performing arts and/or live music venues. As part of the senior management team, you’ll be joining us at an exciting moment in our history.
Following our recent rebrand, the launch of a new website, and the celebration of our 50th anniversary, this is a unique opportunity to lead our highly respected and much-loved music programme. Specialising in classical music, folk, global, jazz, and more, you will shape our offer for both new and existing audiences.
For the past 50 years, we have proudly supported the early careers of many great artists. We champion diverse talent and invite adventurous audiences to discover new music alongside old favourites. Working with national and local partners, we create opportunities for artists and audiences to share the joy of music across the region.
Through our Engagement programme, we actively welcome new audiences who may not have engaged with us before. Importantly, students and young people play a vital role in shaping the next 50 years of Turner Sims.
We are proud to be part of the University of Southampton, an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, contributing to the city and region’s cultural landscape. Our music programme is locally relevant and internationally acclaimed, and we are committed to ensuring that reputation continues to thrive.
