Summary

We are now seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate colleague who understands the power of working within a team and, who from the beginning will feel ready to add something to the Curry Rivel community. A commitment to delivering high quality learning experiences with equal care and challenge will be essential. Additionally, a great enthusiasm for learning, a desire for self-development through research and a passion for designing engaging learning experiences are qualities we value.
Core requirements:
• Support the school’s Christian ethos.
• Establish positive and productive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Be passionate about phonics and early Reading
• Be passionate about teaching and learning, and including knowledge of evidence-based pedagogy
• Respond proactively to parental concerns relating to any aspect of pupil learning, teaching and pastoral care of pupils.
• Be committed to the provision of pupils with SEND, including liaison with external professionals and the school’s SENDCo.
• Have experience in curriculum subject leadership and leading improvements across school.

The Governors and Leadership Team proactively support the well-being of all staff through an open and transparent culture, supportive buddies, a regard for work-load, a live on-going discussion about well-being in staff meetings and regular staff social events.
