Job description
Pool and Spa Centre require a flexible part time Warehouse Operative to ensure that all orders are picked, packed and despatched at speed and to the highest of standards.
The successful candidate should be fit and healthy, work at speed and efficiancy with a high level of care and attention to detail. The role will require some heavy lifting. A forklift license is not required but is desirable.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
· Picking/Packing
· Preparing items for dispatch
· Labelling with courier labels
· Keeping work areas clean and tidy
· Book in deliveries
· Re-stocking
· Process Returns
· Create Commercial Invoices for foreign orders
· Use computer systems
· Serve customers face to face when required
· Any other duties set by the Manager
KEY SKILLS:
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
· Ability to work at speed and maintain targets
· Good communication skills
· Customer Service skills
· Conscientious - takes care to minimise mistakes in all areas of duties
· Remedial computer skill a bonus to understand and operate internal systems
· Able to work at varying rates of pace as workload dictates
HOURS OF WORK:
· Part Time - Minimum 20 hours per week. Flexibilty is required.
WAGE:
· Minimum wage - varies according to age
OTHER DETAILS:
There will be a 2-week initial probation.
