DWP is the UK's largest government department. We help people into work, and make payments worth over £195bn a year to support and empower millions of people.

The scale of what we do is extraordinary, and our purpose is unique. We'd love you to join us.

  • Experience of SQL scripting.
  • Skilled at engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and colleagues to foster collaboration and innovation that delivers tangible business value.
  • Able to translate technical concepts into non-technical language and understands the appropriate media to communicate findings.

You and your role

Designing and creating data visualisations is at the core of this role, using BI/MI tooling to display complex data and insights in a way that engages, informs and inspires technical teams and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Working within our Debt team, our Data Engineers understand and utilise tools like Power BI and Business Objects, cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP, and scripting like SQL, to collate, organise and create innovative solutions from complex datasets that have a real-world impact on the way millions of UK citizens access and use essential DWP services.
