Are you a dedicated and motivated professional with experience in frontline service coordination? We are recruiting for a Coordinator - Direct Access Services on behalf of a leading organisation that provides vital support to rough sleepers in Southend-on-Sea.
The Role
As a Coordinator, you will be at the heart of a dedicated team delivering direct access services to rough sleepers. Working closely with frontline staff, volunteers, and peer mentors, you will ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for those seeking accommodation. You'll collaborate with multi-agency partners to advocate for clients and facilitate pathways to longer-term housing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of direct access services, ensuring high-quality case management.
- Oversee assessments and move-on plans for new residents.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, outreach teams, and social services.
- Lead team meetings and contribute to service improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and housing management policies.
- Supervise staff, volunteers, and peer mentors, providing leadership and pastoral support.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in housing, homelessness, or social care services.
- Strong team leadership and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multi-agency partnerships and advocate for clients.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and case management systems.
- Passion for supporting vulnerable individuals towards independent living.
