The Opportunity:

Based within the Hospital for Small Animals at Easter Bush Campus, Midlothian, this one-year Oncology Internship offers excellent preparatory experience for those considering further clinical training.



The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies has an international reputation in Cancer Research and Clinical Oncology, creating an ideal environment for postgraduate training. Our clinical unit includes the Riddell Swan Cancer Centre, a purpose-built cancer facility housing state-of-the-art imaging and radiotherapy facilities (Varian Medical Systems VitalBeam linear accelerator) and supports the thriving medical and radiation oncology services.



The intern will support all aspects of the oncology service, working alongside staff and residents. Candidates must have proven enthusiasm for oncology, a willingness to learn and an ability to function as part of a dedicated team in a busy hospital.



Your skills and attributes for success:

Member of RCVS or eligible at time of appointment.
Appropriate English language qualification.
