About the Role
As a Catering and Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and servicing of a wide range of commercial catering, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment across hotels, restaurants, nursing homes, schools, corporate offices, and more!
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair commercial catering and refrigeration equipment, including fryers, dishwashers, Rational ovens, cookers, fridges, walk-in chillers/freezers, extraction fans, AC/ventilation systems, and other gas, electrical, and mechanical systems.
* Carry out routine service and maintenance work to ensure operational efficiency.
* Perform fault diagnosis and problem-solving with a proactive approach.
* Work closely with customers to ensure service is delivered to the highest standards.
* Take a flexible approach to tasks, with training provided for working on a variety of equipment.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while ensuring customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
* Time-served multi-skilled engineer with strong technical expertise.
* Comcat/commercial catering qualifications or any relevant gas qualification.
* Relevant electrical qualification, such as 17th/18th Edition, City & Guilds, NVQ, or HNC.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* F-Gas refrigeration qualification or relevant repair experience (advantageous).
* Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
* Customer-focused approach with a “can-do” attitude.
