Summary

In a challenging field, an exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the housing option team at Thanet District Council.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The role will be part of the triage system within Housing Options. You will be meaning incoming calls, referrals and applications of those who are at risk of homelessness or homeless. Providing initial housing advice, guidance and support to those households. You will also be establishing homelessness by collating information needed to pass on to a case officer.

You will have first-class written, oral and numerical skills. You will also be adept at establishing a strong network who will raise the profile of this work around the district. You will also be able to work with great confidentiality, handling sensitive and sometimes distressing information.
