Are you an experienced Container Driver with a valid RHIDES card for the Port of Felixstowe? We want you to join our team! If you're skilled at navigating the port, operating container vehicles, and delivering goods safely, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Container Transport: Safely operate container vehicles to deliver and collect containers at the Port of Felixstowe.
Port Access: Use your valid RHIDES card to access restricted port areas, ensuring compliance with port security regulations. ⚓
Efficient Routing: Plan and follow delivery routes to ensure on-time arrivals and departures. ⏰
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your vehicle is in top condition, performing routine checks and maintenance.
Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and container tracking records.
✨ Requirements:
Valid RHIDES Card: Required for access to the Port of Felixstowe.
Class 1 HGV Licence (C+E): Essential for operating large vehicles.
Driver CPC Qualification: Demonstrates professional driving standards.
Experience: Previous experience driving containers and handling port operations is a plus.
Clean Driving Record: A history of safe, compliant driving with no major convictions.
Strong Communication Skills: Work effectively with team members and port authorities.
