Band 7 EPR Inpatients and Outpatients Workstream Lead - 1 WTE

We are committed to developing and deploying an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) for Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, we have an exciting opportunity to join us as we recruit for an EPR Inpatient and Outpatient Workstream Lead.

The EPR Inpatient and Outpatient Workstream Lead will be responsible for the planning, development, review and implementation of their designated workstream within the Trust-wide EPR. They will oversee the EPR pathways discovery, future workflow design, EPR configuration and provide workstream expertise.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for digital and essential experience with Millennium. Your organisational knowledge, expertise, and subject matter experience are vital to the success of the program. The EPR Inpatient and Outpatient Workstream Lead role will focus on creation of new clinics, fixing clinical build issues, end-to-end pathways and SOP development across the patient pathway.

The EPR Inpatients and Outpatients Workstream Lead will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of all implementation activity relating to their allocated workstream, supporting the introduction of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution for Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT).

The EPR Inpatients and Outpatients Workstream Lead will conduct the timely and comprehensive mapping of existing clinical pathways, allocation of their re-design to EPR modules of work, and the design of new pathways that take advantage of the Transformation opportunities provided by the introduction of the new EPR system. The EPR Inpatients and Outpatients Workstream Lead will apply best practice Transformation principles to nurture staff willingness and ableness to adopt new ways of working.

The EPR Inpatients and Outpatients Workstream Lead will utilise the support of their assigned Workstream Analysts, providing line management to analysts within their allocated workstream.

Change management skills and best practice knowledge will be required to ensure success in this highly complex and high-risk programme of work, with an emphasis on positive movement towards new ways of working with longevity.

Our patients are benefitting from ourWomen’s Health Hubin Ilford; anAgeing Well Centrein Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) atBarking Community Hospitaland atSt George’s Health and Wellbeing Hubin Hornchurch.

These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are providing an extra 88,000 scans a year.
