Summary
We are a busy District General Hospital (DGH) serving the population of Medway and Swale and Medway was the first Trust in Kentto achieve foundation trust status in April 2008. Our childrens emergency department has an annual attendance of over 30,000 babies, children and young people living locally. You will be supported by Clinical Nurse Educator, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Governance managers, together with a friendly multidisciplinary team and a corporate training and development team. We have in house leadership programmes and work with a range of universities to ensure you can progress through academic pathways in order to support your career development. Provide strong clinical leadership skills, supporting, energising, inspiring and empowering others in pursuit of a shared vision to ensure the effective management of the ward /department To deputise, assist and support the Senior Sister / Senior Charge Nurse in the establishment of an efficient working environment, making the most effective and efficient use of staff, supplies and services In co-ordinating the day-to-day management of the clinical area, delegates duties and care appropriately, whilst maintaining overall responsibility
