Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced North Indian Chef with expertise in Indo Chinese and North Indian cuisines. If you have a passion for authentic flavours and a strong culinary background, we would love to have you join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present authentic North Indian dishes including appetisers, roti, naan, Indian curries, and Indo Chinese items.
• Develop and refine traditional recipes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to hygiene and safety standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory, and cost control.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Collaborate with management to create special promotions and seasonal dishes.
Requirements:
• Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts from a recognised institution.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Indian restaurant as cook or chef
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in high-end restaurants or hotels.
• Creativity in menu development while maintaining traditional Flavors.
• Knowledge of other Indian Sweets is a plus.
